GENESIS ELECTRIFIED GV70 NAMED BEST LUXURY CAR OF 2025 BY CARS.COM
- Second consecutive Best Luxury Car of the Year victory for Electrified GV70
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 6, 2025 — Cars.com has named the 2025 Genesis Electrified GV70 its Best Luxury Car of 2025. This marks the second consecutive year the Electrified GV70 has received top honors from Cars.com, contributing to the brand’s impressive total of four wins in the luxury auto category over the past six years.
Selected by the Cars.com editorial staff, the Best Luxury Car of 2025 award recognizes the model that best represents ultimate luxury in its class, as well as provides exceptional usability and drivability.

Launched in the U.S. in early 2023, the Electrified GV70 is Genesis’s best-selling electric SUV. It is the third electric model in the Genesis lineup and the first Genesis vehicle to be assembled in the United States, at the company’s manufacturing facility in Montgomery, Alabama.
The 2025 Genesis Electrified GV70 is now available at select retailers in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
The newly enhanced 2026 Electrified GV70 will be available at retailers later this year. It will boast a range of additional features that deliver an elevated driving experience. The new Electrified GV70 will provide customers with greater flexibility by coming exclusively with a North American Charging Standard (NACS) charge port and Combined Charging System (CCS) adapter to enable more seamless charging, as well as a larger 84-kilowatt-hour high-capacity battery that offers more range.
