SEOUL, April 8, 2026 — The Genesis GV60 Magma includes a collection of exclusive features and unique touches to match the power and performance under the hood.
Gangho Yoon, Research Engineer of the Genesis Total Vehicle Evaluation Team, emphasized that “the exterior of the GV60 Magma has been honed for both visual distinction and improved aerodynamic performance.” The wider tires of the vehicle are housed under newly designed quarter and fender garnishes that accentuate the car’s athletic stance. Air breather garnishes have been strategically integrated to optimize airflow around the body.
A defining element is the refined winglet-type rear spoiler, intended to enhance the vehicle’s aesthetic while improving both drag and lift characteristics, ensuring stable downforce during high-speed driving.
A Magma-Exclusive Interior
Inside, the driver is greeted by a suite of bespoke features designed to create a deeper connection between the driver and the vehicle. The seats, steering wheel and interface are all designed to facilitate the dynamic driving that the GV60 Magma’s capabilities encourage.
Bucket seats are engineered to directly convey the vehicle's driving feel to the driver. These exclusive seats provide a seating posture optimized for dynamic driving and high-speed stability. The design balances firm support with a refined softness, featuring a dual-curvature cushion that enhances thigh support while lowering the center of gravity.
Suede-finished side bolsters offer exceptional grip during cornering, while carefully adjusted foam hardness ensures comfort on long drives. The seats include a 10-way power adjustment function with cushion extension, delivering a configuration that supports both everyday driving and spirited performance, satisfying both daily and sporting needs, unique for a high-performance vehicle.
The Magma steering wheel is designed to blend luxury with adrenaline. A smaller circular horn cover and Magma-colored switches create a focused, sporty feel. The circular rim is designed for natural movements during dynamic steering maneuvers, while the cross-section is optimized for solid, stable handling.
The steering wheel includes paddle shifters designed to minimize hand fatigue while giving the driver more control, enhancing the enjoyment of high-performance EV driving.
The entire infotainment experience has been reimagined with a Magma-exclusive Graphical User Interface (GUI) applied across the cluster, central screen and head-up display.
The Genesis Magma interface aims to enhance driver focus and responsiveness by delivering essential information concisely and intuitively, ensuring optimal engagement behind the wheel. This digital cluster capitalizes on the true black capabilities of its OLED display, contrasting it with Magma Orange to create a minimalist design inspired by the look of a watch face that enhances immersion.
In the specialized Virtual Gear Shift (VGS) mode, the display provides crucial performance data, including an indicator light for optimal gear shifting, a G-force meter, a performance timer and remaining boost timer. This digital interface delivers both the thrill of high performance and the refined elegance unique to Genesis.
